Annika Charles Sorenstam was a Swedish professional golfer. She is considered to be one of the most accomplished female golfers of all time. When she retired from the professional game in 2008, she was the winner of 90 tournaments internationally as an amateur. That made her the female golfer who had the most winnings. Annika was the only non-American winner of the Vare trophy. Annika was also 1 on the Money List. Annika made the decision not to keep taking part in the 2008 contest.
