Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress that appears mainly in Tamil as well as Telugu film, as well as to a few Malayalam films. In 2018, she received the National Film Award Best Actress Award for playing actress Savitri. The film also won three SIIMA Awards were also given to her. Also, she received a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar's parents are filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar & actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her first acting experience began in the mid 2000s. The first time she starred in a leading role was in 2013's Malayalam movie Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In 2015, Keerthy accepted her first films outside of Malayalam and signed on to participate in a variety of Tamil films simultaneously. Her first film, A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015, opposite Vikram Prbhu. The film did not turn out to be successful at the box-office. The actress had to pull out of several films she had been working on in 2015, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and Deekay's Kavalai Vedam, to free up space for bigger projects. Within a brief period, she worked with Sivakarthikeyan on Rajini Murugan, Remo and was also the lead actor on Prabhu Sool's Thodari along with Dhanush. She made her Telugu debut had been scheduled as Ainaa Ishtam nuvvu. Although the release date of Janakitho Nenu is not yet announced, it is reported that the film could be released sometime in September of 2020. Nenu Sailaja (2016), which featured Ram Pothineni as the actor was the debut film of Keerthy's. In January, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa in a film starring actor Vijay and produced by Bharathan. She also appeared in Tamil films like Paambhu Sattai as well as Telugu movies Nenu Local.
